Party's over

Life continues at such a pace and Christmas already seems a distant memory. In future, I must remember to take time out to enjoy the 2 weeks lead up to Christmas. My son Max's birthday was on the 27th, so once we had digested Boxing Day's (very tasty) Bubble & Squeak, the festivities were more or less over.  Standing now in his bedroom, looking at his array of Xmas & Birthday gifts, I spot his favourite. Despite all the other whiz bang, bells & whistles pressies, a small, squidgy, £3.95 "Chelsea" football has received by far the most attention. Indoor football is the order of the day - I can't wait for the clocks to go forward
